Leda and the Swan

Leda and the Swan revisits one of Greek mythology’s most evocative tales — the divine encounter between Zeus, in the form of a swan, and the mortal Leda. In Franco Castelluccio’s 14-inch interpretation, the myth is rendered not as a moment of dominance, but as a delicate balance of power, vulnerability, and transcendence.

The sculptural tension between movement and stillness, wing and limb, evokes both intimacy and awe. The swan’s graceful wings and Leda’s poised form merge into a timeless dialogue between mortal and divine — a reflection on beauty, consequence, and creation.
